New Ford Fiesta Zetec S

The brand name of Ford Fiesta means a lot too many people, especially drivers. There are probably a few who, since the time of its emergence in the market, have not learned to drive in one, owned one or at least had a chance to travel in one. It is one of those very few affordable vehicles currently built to reach the status of an icon in the automotive world. The new car of the Zetec S seems to be a big deal for Ford as the Fiesta series is one of its most popular passenger cars, which generated a sales figure of 12 million sold all over the world. The body of the used vans can be characterised with ‘kinetic design’ styling and sleek appearance. The Zetec S is heavily based on the Verve concept, which seems to have been the most photographed car at 2007’s Frankfurt motor show, and due to this popularity, has been selected as the new car’s foundation. The new Ford Fiesta is largely unchanged from the concept car and is very safe for pedestrians at the same time with its protecting bar across the grille. The Zetec’s interior is indeed of high quality with use of the tactile materials and craftsmanship befitting a car twice the price. The driver’s console looks very innovative and, as per Ford’s designers’ words, had a mobile phone as the inspiration. The boot of this new car measures 295 litres, which is the largest of any Fiesta yet. It can also boast of the lowest Co2 emissions of any mass-produced car currently on sale in the Isles, emitting just 98g/km, thanks to which environmental taxes will not be costly.
