Individual Voluntary Arrangement
Posted on | August 28, 2009 | No Comments
An Individual Voluntary Arrangement otherwise known as an IVA is a measure taken to prevent the dull and disheartening option of bankruptcy. An IVA can be for people that have mortgage repayment problems, debts with their credit cards or car credit repayments, store cards, personal loans, over drafts or just have low levels of capital cash. The reason that an IVA would be suitable in these instances is because it may well be the only option to help reduce these debts in a fixed and manageable manner. By setting up an IVA, you will also be free from any creditors contacting you in regards to your outstanding balances. Read more
New Ford Fiesta Zetec S

The brand name of Ford Fiesta means a lot too many people, especially drivers. There are probably a few who, since the time of its emergence in the market, have not learned to drive in one, owned one or at least had a chance to travel in one. It is one of those very few affordable vehicles currently built to reach the status of an icon in the automotive world. The new car of the Zetec S seems to be a big deal for Ford as the Fiesta series is one of its most popular passenger cars, which generated a sales figure of 12 million sold all over the world. The body of the used vans can be characterised with ‘kinetic design’ styling and sleek appearance. The Zetec S is heavily based on the Verve concept, which seems to have been the most photographed car at 2007’s Frankfurt motor show, and due to this popularity, has been selected as the new car’s foundation. Earlier today I received a letter from BMW thanking me for my recent cars purchase and as a result of being a “valued customer” I was invited to a special company lunch. Now at first I thought that I was being used purely as part of a standard marketing campaign but along with the letter was a hand written invitation to my local dealership where the lunch was taking place. At this stage I was quite excited that someone as big as BMW was interested in my company but as I continued to read it soon became clear to me why they were willing to welcome my presence. Over the last three years I have purchase three different used cars from BMW. My most recent purchase was from a used dealer in the Midlands and that was around two months ago. So, I assume that the people at BMW assume that I am a person with deep pockets and so the purpose of this so called “lunch” was to offer me some exclusive deals on certain new models that they are planning to introduce into the market next summer. Obviously they thought that with my buying cars record come July, August 2009 I may well be interested in purchasing another used BMW vehicle. More…So, the idea was to get recent or avid BMW car buyers all in the one room and present them with offers that they just could not refuse. Read more
Used and New Car Sales

Are things picking up? It does seem that there are less new cars on the road at the minute as opposed to this time last year. Why? Well it all comes down to what is going on with people finances. We know that the used cars market has been hit due to the credit crunch yet we had to wait to see whether the new cars market was going to suffer similar consequences. Yes there are less new registrations on show but the important thing is that people are still buying cars albeit at a slower pace than normal. When however new cars purchases begins to slow down – that is the time to worry! Read more
Cars for sale from a supermarket

How easy is car buying nowadays? The fact that consumers can now just visit a car supermarket to purchase a car makes for more of an enjoyable experience than just visiting a manufacturer for example. The way in which cars can now be bought from such places is comparable to that of general day to day shopping that takes place every day on the nation’s high street. This then has added to the overall enjoyment of the purchasing process and so no doubt more custom will be established. My personal opinion of this type of business is that it makes things a more pleasant experience for the buying public and so I think that as time goes by more and more car supermarkets will be hitting the UK for us all to use. The vehicle stock contained throughout these supermarkets are all used cars with some of them being offered at extremely cheap prices as either ex stock or ex display cars from the dealership showrooms.
